Pinkfresh Studio | March Washi Release | Cherish Layout

Hey everyone and welcome to the Pinkfresh Studio March 2023 Washi Release Blog Hop!! You should have arrived from the wonderful & incredibly talented Karin Hรถgger. And in case you got lost and want to start at the beginning, you can hop over to the Pinkfresh Studio blog.

The March 2023 release includes five Washi tape product suites* (all gorgeous, of course!) and some really fun stand-alone dies and a set of foiled sentiment ephemera. For this layout I used my absolute favorite products from this release (the Tuberose product suite & the A2 slider die) and combined them with my absolute favorite products from last month’s release: the Nested Arches product suite! ๐Ÿ™‚

framing my photo

Since I wanted my photo to really stand out, I decided to frame it using the Nested Arches Stamps & coordinating dies. I heat embossed the sentiment “Life is a journey, and love is what makes that journey worthwile” with some WOW! Metallic Gold Rich Pale Super Fine embossing powder on a piece of white cardstock.

I absolutely love creating interactive scrapbooking layouts and the A2 slider die is perfect for that! You could hide another photo underneath it or add some hidden journaling, like I did.

For the base of this slider card I used a patterned paper in matching colors from the Good Times collection to break up the floral pattern.

Embellishing

I kept the embellishing (apart from the die cut Tuberose Washi flowers) relatively simple and only added a chipboard flair and two cardstock stickers. For the title I used a gold foiled sentiment from the new Foiled Sentiment Ephemera. And of course I had to add a few color-coordinated enamel dots and also some Metallic Gold Pearls to repeat the gold of the washi tape & the embossing.
