Wonderful Wishes Stamp Release

Aren’t these stamp sets just absolutely adorable?! My two favorites are the Jolly Marshmallow Snowman (such a genius set with so many different combinations!) and the Warm Cocoa Wishes. These are also the two sets that I used for my cards. I would love to know which one you like the most!

Wonderful Wishes Cards

You may know that I’m mostly a scrapbooker who sometimes makes cards. But I’m not nearly as talented as my Design Team colleagues. Especially when it comes to coloring stamped images – which these stamp sets are obviously perfect for!

That’s why I wanted to show you two examples that require no coloring skills at all!

Sending Hugs & Kisses Card

How to make this card:

• Stamp the Sending Hugs and Kisses sentiments from Warm Cocoa Wishes with Embossing Ink into the center of an A2 sized piece of white cardstock
• Heat emboss with Classic Gold Embossing Powder
• Stamp & heat emboss the small images from the Jolly Marshmallow Snowman with Glacier White Fine Embossing Powder
• Using an Ink Blending Sponge, start blending Pink Sherbet Ink from the center outwards
• Next, apply Panama Rose Ink from the outside in to create an ombré effect. Add a few layers of the Panama Rose around the outer edge for an even darker color.
• Fill some of the elements with Glitter Gloss. I applied it to the hearts only.
• Add Nuvo Drops in Bubblegum Blush to one of the hearts for a little accent.
• Trim panel down slightly & adhere it to card base with foam adhesive for added dimension. For some extra glitter, back it with Sugar Crystal Glitter Card.

Candy Cane Card

How to make this card:

• Stamp the two candy canes from the Jolly Marshmallow Snowman with Black Shadow Ink onto an A2 sized piece of white cardstock
• Color the stripes with alcohol markers from the Rosy Pinks and Rich Reds sets (I used no. 449 Delicate Rose, 453 Paradise Pink, 379 Strawberry Jam)
• Fill in the background with marker no. 489 Dark Slate
• Trim panel down slightly & adhere to card base
• Color a strip of white cardstock each with the Delicate Rose and Strawberry Jam markers
• Heat emboss the Wishing you the sweetest Christmas sentiment with Glacier White Fine Embossing Powder onto the darker strip
• Adhere the darker strip onto the lighter one. Then back those with a strip of Sugar Crystal Glitter Card. Cut into a fishtail banner & adhere to card.
• Add Simply White Nuvo Drops to fill the spaces between the candy canes.
• For added sparkle, color some of the elements with Glitter Gloss.

I’m really happy with how both cards turned out! But I’m definitely itching to use the other images in those two stamp sets. I guess I’ll have to work on my coloring skills first, though 😉
